Designer Outlet Neumünster lies right on the A7 motorway (exit 15 Neumünster-Süd), about 30 minutes by car from Hamburg and from Kiel. The open-air outlet opened in 2012 and is operated by McArthurGlen; its buildings are inspired by the architecture of a small northern German town. Around 120 stores offer fashion, sportswear, shoes, accessories, jewellery and homeware from well-known brands at up to 70% below the recommended retail price all year round, alongside restaurants and cafés. The centre is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm.

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm. The centre is closed on Sundays and public holidays, including Reformation Day (31 October 2026). How to get to Designer Outlet Neumünster
- By car: via the A7, exit 15 „Neumünster-Süd“, onto the B205 and follow the „Designer Outlet“ signs; from the town centre via Altonaer Straße (K16) and Oderstraße.
- By train and bus: to Neumünster main station, then bus line 7 or 77 to the Designer Outlet; alternatively a short taxi ride.
- On the way through: the centre lies on the route to Scandinavia, and the Kiel ferry port is about 30 minutes away.
Neumünster and the surrounding area
Neumünster lies in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein. Hamburg, Kiel and Lübeck are within easy reach, as are the Baltic Sea beaches and the Wadden Sea on the North Sea coast. In town, the Tuch + Technik textile museum and the zoo are worth a visit.
