2. Overview
- When you visit the website, our host processes technically necessary access data (section 3).
- Google AdSense ads are only personalized if you choose so in the consent banner (sections 4 and 5).
- Store ratings do not store your IP address in plain text (section 6).
- There are no comments, user accounts or newsletters.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Königsberger Straße 4–6, 32339 Espelkamp, Germany. Each page request processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system. The purpose is secure and stable delivery of the website; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host. Log data is deleted after the period set by the host.
4. Consent management
We obtain your consent using Google’s consent management (“Privacy & messaging”), a Google-certified consent management platform under the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). Your choice is stored in a cookie so that it is respected on later visits. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR and Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the privacy settings link in the banner or at the bottom of the page.
5. Google AdSense
We show ads from Google AdSense, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google uses cookies and similar technologies and processes, among other things, IP address, device and browser information and information about the page viewed in order to deliver ads, measure their effectiveness and prevent fraud.
- With consent: personalized ads based on your interests (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG).
- Without consent: non-personalized or limited ads where Google serves them without consent.

6. Store ratings
You can rate stores with 1 to 5 stars. We only store the total and the number of ratings per store. To prevent repeated ratings of the same store within a short time, we create an irreversible check value (hash) from IP address and store and keep it for 24 hours; it is then deleted automatically. The IP address itself is not stored. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Language selection
To provide the English and German versions, a technically necessary cookie (“pll_language”) may store your language choice. Legal basis: Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
8. Maps and external links
Store and center pages link to OpenStreetMap. No maps are embedded; data is only transferred when you click the link and open the OpenStreetMap website, where its privacy policy applies. The same applies to links to brand and center websites.
9. Encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognizable by “https://” in the address bar.
10. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).
