Setting and atmosphere
Houses with oriels and painted façades and buildings modelled on historic industrial architecture shape the look of the village, which describes its style as „Nouveau Bavaria“. The shopping streets are car-free, and seasonal decorations and events add variety throughout the year. Ingolstadt’s old town and the Danube are only a few kilometres away.
Food and drink options include the Ladurée Salon de Thé, the Bollicine&Co. champagne bar, Mancini, Mr. Smash & Co., Indochine, Coffee Fellows and Venchi for chocolate and ice cream. Washrooms with baby-changing facilities are located throughout the village.

The range spans luxury labels such as Balenciaga, LOEWE, ETRO, Jimmy Choo, Versace, Burberry and Tod’s, designer and premium fashion from BOSS, Armani, Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Maje, Sandro and Closed, and sports and outdoor brands including Nike, adidas Originals, Puma, Arc’teryx, The North Face and Salomon. There are also shoes, bags, watches (Hour Passion), cosmetics (Douglas, The Cosmetics Company Store), childrenswear and homeware from WMF, Zwilling, Le Creuset, Rosenthal and Villeroy & Boch. Ingolstadt and the surrounding area
Ingolstadt on the Danube combines a historic old town with fortifications, the New Castle housing the Bavarian Army Museum and the German Museum of Medical History with modern industry: the Audi Forum and its museum mobile attract car fans. Nearby, the Altmühl valley with its cycling and hiking trails and towns such as Eichstätt and Neuburg an der Donau make good day trips.
